Just before Christmas, Ivana, who lives only for her family, is told by her husband Martin about something that will ruin her holidays, and which only their mutual friend Adriana, a divorce lawyer, knows about. She is the only one of the party who has not married and has no children. She lives alone, but maintains an affair with her boss Filip. Another member of the party, Ela, is a well-known TV presenter who leads a harmonious life with book translator Andrej and their ten-year-old twins, until her former love David unexpectedly appears. The party is rounded off by restaurant owner Vláďa, who, after divorcing Věra, married the younger Broňa for the second time. After the experience of a previous relationship, he does not want his wife to work, so Broňa does everything to prevent him from finding out about her work activities. Ela helps her in this. The tangle of secrets between not only couples, but also friends themselves, starts to get even more tangled when the prime minister's wife turns to Adriana and wants to leave her husband during the election campaign...
